Day 085: Seafood in Sydney

Australia and New Zealand surprisingly had great food.  I had never heard of Australia food, though I’m not sure if it really exists.  Down under isn’t necessarily known for its type of food, from my understanding, but for the ingredients of their staple food, which include seafood and lamb, among other things.  I did what [...]

Day 073: Drive By

During my wonderful trip to Australia, I spent a lot of time sitting in the back of a car. Here’s just another Melbourne moment I captured during our drive by of the city.

Day 065: Drool…. Ink & Spindle 1

So, one of the highlights of my Australia adventure was visiting Ink & Spindle in Kensington (which is right outside Melbourne) for one of their open studios. It was absolutely amazing to be at the studio that I’ve seen countless times on blogs. Walking up several flights of stairs to the studio, I was getting [...]

Day 062: Kanga & Roo say, “Hello!”

While in Melbourne, the posse and I decided to head over to Phillip Island to soak in some fabulous Australia sights as well as fun animals! We headed to the Koala Preservation Centre.  Superfabulous and more of those pictures to come.  I heard about the Phillip Island Wildlife Park and how you could pet all [...]

Day 061: Love

Snapped this picture while my brother drove around downtown Melbourne.  I really love looking at the different marketing graphics and posters and such from other countries.  Australia is supposedly one of the first and leading countries in environmental consciousness, and I believe it.

Day 057: Beautiful country. Beautiful coast.

The Australian Coast is absolutely gorgeous

Day 056: L7 Squared

I’m really starting to appreciate my fisheye lens. It really captures the close up details. I love it. Here are some images from my travels on the Great Ocean Road along the southern coast of Australia. (I cropped these images to eliminate the large circle created by using the fisheye lens)

Day 055: 12 apostles.

After a fourteen hour flight to Sydney, a layover, an hour flight to Melbourne, then a three hour drive to Port Campbell, we made it to the 12 apostles, a rock formation on the south coast of Australia. You can read more about it here. It was amazing. Evidently, the rock formations can sometimes change [...]

Out for Holiday…

I’ll be in Australia and New Zealand until early April. See you when I get back

Day 022: Rest and Relaxation

I have been working relentlessly. I am so excited to have a brief break. Here is a long, laundry list of things I’d like to accomplish:   - continue building my empire   - clean up and organize  - finish my church’s website   - make business cards   - research Australia and New Zealand trip.   - have [...]
