Meet Me: Meg!

Photographer, lover of travel, adventurer, goof ball and seeker of new experiences.
I love people, and I love life.

Sometimes when I’m up at night, I wonder how I got to this place in my life.
Years ago I spent sleepless nights in architecture school, determined to make a name for myself in the construction industry.  When I was laid off from my first job and was unable to find a new job in this failing economy, I felt incredibly lost.  As I searched for my place in life, I found my way to photography.  I rediscovered my joy of capturing life’s simple moments through a lens and the thrilling adventure of traveling.   I think about all the people I’ve photographed over the years, reliving their stories in my imagination.  My life’s journey replays in my mind…the 40+ destinations I’ve visited in the past three years; how much I’ve grown in my craft; the amazing people I’ve met…. all because I was laid off two years ago.  That’s when I realize I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be right now, and I couldn’t be happier.

Life is good.

I am candid, silly and honest.  This blog of my work, my adventures, my hopes and my life is a complete reflection of my unguarded story.
